Carrying on. What do you look for in a woman? I don't give a shit, but I look for someone smarter than me, better looking than me, shorter than me, more clever than me, more likable than me, more interesting than me, just an overall sense a better human being than me, and most importantly, crazier than me. Lofty goals right? I just found exactly that though, she's amazing, and likes me back. Fuck I struck the lottery. And I pack my bags to leave this town, school, and dream in less than a week... Fuck me.

I think most men like women that are shorter than them, evolutionary I guess. I also want a good looking woman as well. I am not really picky on the personality front, generally I tend to like most people. She just can't be stupid or insane in the brain(not the good insane). I guess I am pretty easy going. Oh and there is one more thing, but I am not gonna say the last thing. . .

I think the problem with me is that most of the girls that are pretty at my school are bitches and most of the girls that are nice and funny and cool and such are ugly. The tiny percentile of girls that are both already have boyfriends. Argh

Well I hate to rain on your parade, but if she's so much smarter, better looking, more clever, likable, interesting than you etc. she will no doubt figure that out eventually and leave your ass high and dry.

I've figured over the last few years that when you try to search around for that perfect woman, you find just that. A bunch of women that are massively attractive, yet mentally shallow, and a bunch of girls that you get along with great and think much like you, but you simply don't find attractive.
Once you stop searching and start pursuing your bigger goals in life however the women you've always wanted to be with start to emerge and fuck up all of your plans. For better or for worse.

I look for a high-revving nature, usually low stroke and wide bore and with good balance. I think less weight and more power is worth any loss in interior quality, but exterior quality matters too. Not so much that it can make up for a lack of power, but a nice, long hood and short rear, preferably with a hatch or fastback style can go a long way towards a great relationship.
Also, must drive from the rear. No exceptions.

Same shit happened to me.
Met a girl, everything clicked right off the bat, but I had to move a month or so later, so we spent what time we had together, and we are still together.
It's hard living far from eachother but makes the relationship stronger.
How far will you be from her?

Yeah well keepin her happy is a relative term. Don't lose yourself there man. Some people are takers by nature and you can never truly make them happy. A person who cannot find happiness on their own is a lost cause and will do you nothing but harm.

Me and my girl are 3 hours apart, so its alright for me to do a day trip to see her when I can afford to.

I see what you're getting at. I completely agree. It's very relative though, there's no one way to accomplish that, but the key here is keep her happy. Not make her happy. Any man that tries to make a woman happy is destined for failure and or disappointment. Any strong woman is more than capable of doing so on her own.
I'll second you on honesty as well. It works its way into being a huge part of everything.

Sorry to get all philosophical on you on a happy day man but after living through all I've seen I feel obligated to warn starcrossed lovers of the pitfalls that will often beset the most solid of unions. 42 year old man here who's seen it all is telling you the most painful thing that can happen to you is to see your own children torn between two parents whom they both love equally. Best of luck to you brother, and as time takes it's toll on both of you remember that marriage isn't always going to be easy no matter what common bonds you share. 3 hours and 15-20 is a huge difference. I am 9 hours from my girlfriend and I wouldn't recommend it for someone who hasn't been with a person for a long time. We were together over a year before moving apart.
